Appert’s Foodservice offers the following benefits to its employees:
HEALTH INSURANCE
Appert’s Foodservice offers quality health insurance for full-time employees. If you participate in this health program, you and your dependents are also eligible for the prescription drug program at participating pharmacies.
LIFE INSURANCE
Appert’s offers to its employees at no cost, term life insurance upon eligibility date (90 days). Each employee has an opportunity, upon eligibility, to purchase additional life insurance.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (Cafeteria Plan)
Our Flex Program offers full-time employees, upon eligibility, the option to select pre-taxed dollars from their earned income to pay for dependent and/or medical expenses.
APPERT’S FOODSERVICE RETIREMENT/401(k)
Employee contributions will be matched at 50% by the Company, up to 5% dollars deferred by employee. Eligible employees may elect to have any portion of his/her salary deferred up to 25% maximum. There are over eight investment options available. Employees must work at Appert’s for 30 days before they are eligible to participate.
PIP PROGRAM
This program is designed to involve all employees in the profitability of the Company. The program is designed to reward the efforts made by the employees as they work toward the productivity and efficiency of the Company. Employees must work at Appert’s for 9 months before they are eligible to participate.
EMPLOYEE FOOD DISCOUNT
Employees can purchase bulk product or retail product in our Retail Outlet at discounted prices.
PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
Upon eligibility for this benefit full time and part time employees will begin accruing PTO pay. The first year of employment PTO hours are prorated for new employees. Holiday pay is available to all employees after 30 days of employment.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Professional counseling is available on a confidential basis for you and you family members through the Employee Assistance Program.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
Appert’s Foodservice will reimburse you for any job-related, pre-approved course work, upon completion. (Some requirements apply.)
DIRECT DEPOSIT
Appert’s Foodservice deposits your weekly payroll automatically to the bank of your choice.
